Bunaken

Bunaken National Park located in sub-district Bunaken about 7 miles from Manado port that can be reach in 35 minutes from downtown using sub district’s motor boat.

Initially, Bunaken is a coral island (atol). The wide of its region is about 887, 5 hectare with little surging morphology condition. Bunaken National Park is one of the most beautiful sea parks in the world. Most of its beach region consists of mangrove forest and white sand. In its sea there are hard and soft coral reef, precipitous rock wall with the multi various shape and color of its sea natural resources. Between them there are shark, tortoise, mandarin fish, sea horse, ray fish and the most popular is the ancient fish sea king (coelacanth) and many more that from the beautiful sea park. The beauty of the sea park can be seen at location so called Lekuan 1, 2 and 3, Fukui, Mondolon, Parigi Foreland, Rons Point, Pangalisang, Muka Kampung and East Bunakn.

The marine park consists of various tourism locations (water, sea and coast). Located in eastside of Bunaken Island in Bunaken district about 8 miles from downtown and can be reached for 45 minutes by motor boat. Siladen Island has 31,25 hectare wide. Surrounded by white sanded beach and in its sea and in its sea there are coral reef with multifarious shape and color of its sea natural resources that from that from a beautiful Sea Park. The beauty of its Sea Park can be seen on location called Siladen 2. Constitute water and maritime tourism location, which are water/sea and coast. Tourism activities that can be done is like enjoying the Sea Park with sightseeing on catamaran, snorkeling, diving, and underwater photographer, and also sunbathe on the beach. Manado Tua Island

Located on Manado bay definition in Bunaken district about 10 miles from downtown that can be reached in 60 minutes using motor boat.

Manado Tua is the largest island of the island group located on Manado bay definition. The beach covered by white sand mixture and rock. There is a beautiful sea park because it consists of coral reef, decorative fish, consumption fish and other sea natural resources. Around the island there is pathway of concrete. On the place called Tanjung Raja there is a Portuguese ship anchor whereas a place called Tanjung Kopi became a place for turtles to lay eggs every full moon. There are also people’s coconut plantation and mango tree. On the top of mountain its mountain there is a protected forest.
